Property Tax on the Family Home

At the budget meeting of Wicklow County Council on November 19th 2011, the property on your family home was voted in.

Cllr Cullen was the only councillor in South and West Wicklow to vote against its introduction. He made it very clear that he would keep the committment he had given  to his constituents in the 2009 local elections that he would never support a property tax on their family homes and he has kept his word.

All Fine Gael, Fianna Fail, Sinn Fein and certain Independent councillors present, voted to introduce the property tax on your home that day.

This can be found in the official minutes, on public record.
